I am the proud owner and leader of Aeternum Artistry and a licensed hair and makeup artist based in Cherry Creek in Denver, CO.
I have always been passionate about creating safe spaces and last memories and relationships with those around me. These values drew me into the beauty industry and even more deeply into wedding beauty.
As a wedding pro with over 250 weddings under my belt, I have cultivated a high-touch & full service concierge approach to bridal beauty.
Most importantly, my passion is delivering this experience to everyone - regardless of color, size, orientation, or any other way you identify. My team and I aim to provide exceptional wedding beauty experiences to all!
The story behind Aeternum Artistry?
Aeternum : Latin (ah-ter-num ) adverb. forever; eternally
”..‘Til death do us part.” This is the phrase of traditional wedding vows that inspired us. Everything about a wedding day is meant to be eternal - stand the test of time! You are solidifying your promise to your forever partner, choosing your forever family, you have diligently chosen a photographer that will capture moments in photos that will live on forever . . . We want to make sure that you feel your most radiant & confident self in those moments.
Our philosophy at Aeternum is to provide you with looks that last - last the test of time in a photo, between tears during your ceremony, and through the sweat and laughs you’ll have on the dance floor! We are on a mission to give laid back but VIP-moment-loving folks a luxe look that totally still feels like you.
How is Aeternum Artistry different?
Blair Mielke, the founder of Aeternum, wanted to make sure that we value a few things above all else - inclusivity, keeping it real, and sustainability.
In our eyes: love is love, people are people (no matter what size, shape, color, or background,) and you should always show up as your authentic & genuine self! We do not tolerate hate of any kind, and will not stand for exclusion. You, and all of your most important peeps that will surround you on your wedding day, should feel 100% warm, welcomed, and full of love.
We also believe in a love for our planet and being sustainable. The wedding industry, as beautiful as it can be, produces a ton of waste. It is estimated that the average wedding produces between approximately 500 pounds of waste. This is why we are partnered with our owner and founder’s salon suite Blonding by B, that is part of the Green Circle Salons community, to recycle all of the waste that would be produced by our hair and makeup services. All those cotton rounds, mascara wands, and beauty sponges get collected for recycling and get a chance at a new life instead of ending up in a landfill.
